Aaron Miller, MD, is the medical director of The Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis and a professor of Neurology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. For 23 years, prior to becoming medical director, he headed the Division of Neurology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also served as director of the Linda Morgante Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Care Center.

Dr Miller served as the chief medical officer and chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of the National MS Society from 2002 to 2009, and will chair the National Medical Advisory Board beginning in 2018. He also formerly served as the chairman of the Clinical Advisory Committee of the New York Chapter of the National MS Society from 1991 to 2004 and the chairman of the Professional Education Committee of the National MS Society, and is a past president of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. He was a member of the National Board of the National MS Society from 2002 to 2017.

Dr Miller is also very active with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). He was the first chairman of the MS section of the AAN, and he served as editor of Continuum, their bimonthly continuing education publication, from 2003 to 2012; he is currently serving as editor of Continuum Audio. He was secretary of the AAN Board (2013-2017) and was also a member of the Board from 2009 to 2013. From 1997 to 2003, he served as co-chairman of the Education Committee and chairman of the Annual Meeting Subcommittee. Prior to assuming that position, he served as the chairman of the Program Accreditation and Development Subcommittee.

Dr Miller has participated in numerous clinical trials of new treatments for MS.
