David M. Fleischer, MD

David M. Fleischer, MD, is currently the section head of allergy and immunology at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and a professor of pediatrics at CHCO and the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. He is also the director of the Allergy and Immunology Center at CHCO, which opened in February 2018. Dr Fleischer completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania, his medical degree training at the Emory University School of Medicine, and both his pediatric residency and his pediatric allergy/immunology fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Dr Fleischer’s primary clinical interest is food allergy. His research has focused on the natural history of and novel treatments for food allergy, including oral, sublingual, and epicutaneous immunotherapies. He has authored numerous original peer-reviewed articles, review articles, and book chapters on food allergy.
