Guru P. Sonpavde, MD

Guru Sonpavde, MD, is the Bladder Cancer Director at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA. He completed his medical oncology fellowship at Indiana University. His primary focus is the development of systemic agents and combinations for urologic cancers. He has led multiple clinical trials, authored approximately 300 publications, and presented at major conferences. He has also refined prognostic classification and clinical endpoints across multiple urologic cancers. Dr Sonpavde is the co-chair of the Genitourinary (GU) oncology committee of the Hoosier Cancer Research network (HCRN) and a member of the GU committee of Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG).
